 uses two innovative filtration medias which will clean water to the highest level without reducing the life of the filter. The AFS outer fabric is a Antimicrobial Microban media made by REEMAY. The inner PleatcoPureTec Media is ill capture particles smaller than the eye can see.  The Inner fabric does not get clogged with larger particles becasue the out material acts as a pre filter.
